We are thrilled to welcome Alex Santiuste as our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who officially joined BluEdge on September 18, 2023. Alex brings a wealth of experience and a remarkable background to our organization, and we are excited about the expertise and energy he brings.
More About Alex: A Strong Foundation in Finance
Alex’s finance journey began at Florida State University, where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He gained valuable experience through a 2-year internship at Scottrade, a prominent financial services firm.
Proven Track Record in the Financial Industry
After graduation, Alex launched an impressive career in the financial sector. At Fidelity Investments, his dedication led him to become a Senior Associate and Team Lead in under 2 years. He then joined UBS, the world’s largest global financial services firm.
Alex’s strong leadership qualities were evident during his nearly six years at UBS, where he held various leadership positions across the southeast region. He honed his skills alongside some of the best business leaders and financial advisors in the industry.
A Shift Towards Sales and Real Estate
In the past two and a half years, Alex transitioned his career to focus on sales as a Regional Sales Manager in the transportation industry. This allowed him to return to his hometown and explore his passion for sales. He also pursued a Real Estate License, further diversifying his skill set.
A Perfect Fit for BluEdge
Alex’s financial acumen, leadership abilities, and genuine affinity for people make him an excellent addition to the BluEdge team. His experience in managing complex financial matters and his track record of success in sales demonstrate his versatility and drive.
As CFO, Alex will play a crucial role in guiding BluEdge’s financial decisions. He will also receive mentorship from Shane in Land and Investment Sales and collaborate with other associates.
