Alex began his journey into the world of finance at Florida State University, where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. During his time at university, he honed his skills through a 2 year internship at Scottrade, a prominent financial services firm with a massive workforce of over 3,000 employees.

After graduation, Alex embarked on an impressive career in the financial sector. He started at Fidelity Investments, where his dedication and talent quickly led him to become a Senior Associate and Team Lead in under 2 years. His remarkable journey continued when he accepted a role at UBS, the world’s largest global financial services firm, operating in more than 50 countries.

Alex’s strong leadership qualities were evident as he spent nearly six years with UBS, holding various leadership positions across the southeast region, despite still being in his twenties. He had the opportunity to work alongside and hone his skills with some of the best business leaders and financial advisors in the wealth management industry.

In the past two and a half years, Alex transitioned his career to focus on sales, particularly as a Regional Sales Manager at a leading firm in the transportation industry. This shift allowed him to return to his hometown, reconnect with loved ones, and explore his passion for sales. During this time, he also pursued a Real Estate License, further diversifying his skill set.

Alex’s financial acumen, leadership abilities, and his genuine affinity for people make him an exciting addition to the BluEdge team. His extensive experience in managing complex financial matters, coupled with his track record of success in sales, is a testament to his versatility and drive. In his new role as CFO, Alex will play a critical role in guiding BluEdge’s financial decisions. He will also receive mentorship from Shane in Land and Investment Sales and will frequently collaborate with other associates within the organization.

Our rationale behind this investment is twofold. We’re creating a space that seamlessly blends productivity with sociability. Here, professionals and loved ones alike can drop in, grab a chair, and find a spot to work. We encourage advanced scheduling for presentations and events, making it a dynamic hub for both work and community-building. We want this to be a space for education, social gatherings, charitable events to grow our team, clients, and community.

At BluEdge HQ, we are committed to bringing our community closer to us. It’s not just an office; it’s a space where we can expand our network while providing our team with an inviting environment to thrive in.

Our two corner offices are business-focused spaces. The West Office is dedicated to teamwork, collaboration, and group projects. It’s the go-to spot for brainstorming sessions and collective innovation. Featuring four desks and a TV Display for presentations. In contrast, the East Office is designed for those who require a quieter setting, perfect for online meetings or phone calls that demand concentration and privacy.

Our conference room is a multifunctional space that caters to various needs. From client presentations to team collaborations and company meetings, this room is the heart of strategic discussions and planning. Moreover, we’re excited to introduce a lounge area in the main space, creating an atmosphere where connections can flourish in a relaxed setting.
