BluEdge is Committed to Excellence

View Our 10 Commitments

The Belief

This will serve as the compass that helps us navigate through all the decisions we’re faced with moving forward into our future endeavor.

Each team member must thoroughly read, understand, and BELIEVE IN all of the principles listed below. We believe that our future success will not be limited by lack of talent, intelligence, drive, or our ability to get results. Instead, it is much more likely that our success is determined by staying true to these Ten Principles. Therefore, mastering these will likely guarantee our success.

The Principles

Each team member can use these principles as grounds to challenge the other in a positive direction, but more so, each party should highlight and applaud when the other is excelling at the principles.

Principles should be easily accessible within arm’s reach and/or displayed in each team members primary place of work.

The Direction

Each team member can use these principles as grounds to challenge the other in a positive direction, but more so, each party should highlight and applaud when the other is excelling at the principles

The Commitment to Excellence (CTE) Agreement is not meant to be set in stone. It is meant to be debated, changed, and altered over time, as needed, for the betterment of the parties that agree to it.

Be Impeccable With Your Word

Speak with Integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using your word to speak against yourself, or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

0
Don't Take Anything Personally

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering. Always choose wanting to get it right over being right. You will be judged here, don’t take it personally. It’s an opportunity.

0
Don't Make Assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions, and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. Always assume others are doing their best. By limiting your assumptions, becoming open minded, and adhering to the principles in this agreement, you can completely transform your life.

0
Always Do Your Best

Your best is going to change from moment to moment, it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circum- stance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

0
Embrace A Growth Mindset

In a growth mindset, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment.

0
Embrace An Abundance Mindset

Open your mind up to the idea that there is enough for everyone. As opposed to a scarcity mindset, where in order for you to win there must be someone else that loses. There’s plenty to go around.

0
Be The Eternal Student

Even if you are comfortable and confident with your level of knowl- edge, it’s essential to always posture yourself as the student physically and mentally. This naturally puts you in a growth mindset where you’re open to learning new ideas and opinions, and because of this you make others feel heard and important – like they should. The world wants to support someone humble enough to be the student. Embrace the process. “Chop Wood and Carry Water”.

0
Invest in Assets, Not Liabilities

This goes for both your time and money! This starts with being able to define an asset compared to a liability. Each time you spend time or money you should at least be mindful of, “what is my true return on this investment?” If it does not give you consistent returns, it is a liability. We know that at times we will indulge on too many drinks, or a nice vehicle, but if these liabilities become a staple in someone’s life, it is up to one of us to label and acknowledge.

If We Wouldn't Advertise It, We Won't Do It

If there’s any part of our business that you’re not willing to advertise on a billboard that says “we do this”, it doesn’t matter if it makes you money, it’s not worth doing. We’re in this business for healthy, long term relationships, and the best way to do that is by always acting in the best interest of the customer. We’ll find a better way.

Set & Track Goals

At each quarterly review you will have 1-3 goals in different categories of your life. Categories can look like: Fitness, Health, Personal Finance, Work, Career, Relationships, Personal Growth, Mindfulness, Spirituality, or Education.
